These terms and conditions apply without exception or variation to all hire agreements made between customers "the Hirer" and Crystal Trees By

Design" the Company" and are governed by the Laws of the United Kingdom. By placing an order you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Hirer is the person named on the booking form. The Hirer takes full responsibility for the goods under these terms and conditions and shall alone be responsible for insuring the goods from time of delivery until collection.  All hired goods remain the property of the Company.
Prices quoted are for one days hire only apart from day of delivery and collection. Subsequent days will be charged at a daily rate unless a special agreement has been arranged prior to the event between the Company and the Hirer.

Securing A Booking & Payment: The Company require both the Booking Form & Terms of Agreement Form signed by the Hirer together with a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure a booking. 
The balance is payable one full calendar month before the event date.
If a booking is cancelled more than one month in advance then no more monies are payable but the deposit will not be refunded.
If a booking is cancelled within one month then the full remaining balance is payable – These monies can be used against a future booking within 12 months if the event is only postponed.

Bookings within one month must be paid in full at time of booking.
Increase or Reduction of Quantity: Reductions in the quantities of hire goods within one month of the event date will not be refunded. An increase to hire quantities will be subject to availability at the time of request and cannot be guaranteed. Increased quantities are subject to additional hire charges.

Delivery: All hire goods will be delivered free of charge within 8 miles of RH140LT (unless otherwise stated) to your venue by our trusted courier. When the goods on hire are delivered to the Hirer or their representative, the Hirer shall inspect the goods and immediately inform the Company if they have any concerns, otherwise the goods shall be deemed to be complete and in an acceptable condition. Any damage whilst in transit must be noted on the delivery note and be notified to the Company immediately in order for everything to be done to repair or replace the damaged goods in time for your event.

Damaged goods cannot be clarified or rectified after the Hirer has signed and the Company will not be liable for claims, breakages, loss or incorrect items beyond signature of delivery acceptance.

Collection / Non- Return / Damaged Goods: On collection goods will be inspected for breakages damage or shortages. The Hirer will need to sign for the hired goods being returned in the same condition at which they were hired. Any breakages damage or quantity shortage must be noted at the time of collection. Our courier’s signature will also be required to confirm their condition and quantity.  Any breakages damage or quantity shortage will be charged accordingly for the repair or full retail value whichever is deemed appropriate by the Company and including any loss of business.  Each centrepiece tree has a retail value of £900.00. Each Silver Name Place Setting  Tree has a retail value of £35.00.

Liability: The Hirer is solely responsible for the Hired Goods and no other third party to whom the Hirer has entrusted the Hire Goods. The Hirer shall alone be responsible for ensuring the hired goods are kept in good order from the time of arrival to the venue until they are signed off by our courier on collection. Therefore if the Hirer intends to leave Hired Goods anywhere other than in the Hirer’s possession before or after the event an agreement of a good provision of storage must be made and organized direct with the hotel or third party by the Hirer and does so at their own risk. If the Hirer nominates a third party to act on their behalf, the contact names, addresses and telephone numbers should be made known the Company so that the goods can be located after the event. The Hirer will still be fully responsible for the hired goods even when dealt with by a third party.

Packaging: All goods are provided packaged for that product. Therefore all packaging must be retained and in good order ready for collection.  A charge will be made for non-return or damage of packaging.

 The Company will not be held responsible for injury or damage to persons or property howsoever sustained arising from any Hired Goods from Crystal Trees By Design.

Declaration:

I declare that I am the hirer and that I have read and agree to these terms and conditions of hire. I can confirm that I have provided photo identification with home address as proof of identity as the person named on this agreement.

If signing on behalf of a Company: I confirm that I have the authority to sign on behalf of the company.
